Worrydolls
The concept of Worrydolls originated from the indigenous people of Guatemala, where small dolls were given to help alleviate worries and anxieties. These dolls can be used as a journal to track and overcome stress and anxiety. By whispering a worry to the doll and placing it under one's pillow, the worry is transferred to the doll, which then carries the burden. The Worrydolls app functions in the same way, allowing users to share their worries with a virtual doll. Once a worry is resolved, users have the option to inform the doll that it no longer needs to worry. This app aims to provide a sense of calm and assistance, just like how it helped the creator's grandmother.
