ET&D Partnership
The Electrical Transmission & Distribution (ET&D) Partnership is a collaborative effort among industry stakeholders aimed at enhancing safety for workers in the electric line construction industry. The partnership focuses on analyzing accident and incident data to identify the common causes of fatalities, injuries, and illnesses among linemen, apprentices, and other relevant job classifications. Best Practices are developed for each identified cause, along with implementation strategies that are promoted among the partners. Additionally, the partnership identifies training criteria for various job positions, including foremen, supervisors, linemen, and apprentices, with the goal of creating a safety-conscious culture within the industry.
