Ease is a HIPAA compliant communication app designed to improve patient satisfaction and increase transparency in the hospital experience. Patients can invite family members and loved ones to receive text, photo, and video updates on their status through a safe and secure app. Family members can view updates for 60 seconds before they disappear, and all content is not stored on a device. The app uses various connections such as 5G, 4G, LTE, or WiFi when available. Encrypted texts, photos, and videos are sent at the direction of the patient's medical team. The app has customizable messages, real-time updates, and patients can select their preference of update content. It is HIPAA compliant and offers 256-bit encryption for patient privacy. Ease works on virtually all carriers and networks, and is also available for tablet devices.
