GamePhone is a communication app that allows users to make free voice calls and text chat with their Game Center friends. The app is compatible with iPod touch, iPad, and iPhone devices and offers unlimited minutes and no fees for calls. It can turn an iPad or iPod touch into a phone, though a headset and microphone may be required for use on these devices. While using a 3G or Edge cellular connection, only text chat is supported. To use the app, Game Center is required on iPhone and iPod touch devices with iOS 4.1 and higher, while iPad devices need iOS 4.2 and higher.
