The platform aims to inspire and empower experience designers to achieve an independent, passive income by sharing their local knowledge and expertise. It also aims to inspire and empower discoverers to pursue their curiosities and passions. Hello Curious ensures access to unique information and empowers curiosity, discovery, exploration, and information exchange for individuals of all income levels and backgrounds.
The Hello Curious app allows users to discover and unlock experiences that can be enjoyed alone or with family and friends. These experiences are either on-ground experiences, which involve detailed itineraries to discover locations, landmarks, local cuisine recommendations, attractions, and activities, or At-Home experiences, which can be enjoyed from the comfort of one's home and include activities like learning to cook a new dish or acquiring a new skill or craft.
All experiences on Hello Curious are created by local knowledgeable individuals who are passionate about sharing their knowledge. Users can find and choose between on-ground or at-home experiences, view experience designer profiles, preview experiences before unlocking them, and read reviews and ratings of experiences.
Unlocking an experience provides users with unlimited access to either a detailed itinerary and recommendations with map views, descriptions, pictures, and videos for on-ground experiences, or step-by-step instructions with descriptions, pictures, and videos for at-home experiences.
Hello Curious prioritizes quality assurance by verifying the background and identity of experience designers and ensuring that experiences adhere to platform guidelines that guarantee uniqueness, accuracy, and inspiration. The platform also revises the experience content in terms of theme and validates the information provided.
Additional features of Hello Curious include the ability to rate and review experiences, follow favorite experience designers, add experiences to a curiosity list for unlocking later, search for experiences based on type, location, category, or experience designer, add preferences for tailored experience recommendations, and use an offline feature to download experiences and access them without an internet connection.
