I-TOUR
I-TOUR aims to highlight and promote the tourism potentials of cross-border regions in North Macedonia and Greece through the development of three adventure tourism products. The project focuses on the Pelagonija, Florina, and Thessaloniki regions, which are rich in natural, anthropological, and cultural assets that are often overlooked by tourists. By emphasizing sustainable utilization of these resources, I-TOUR seeks to improve the overall development of these regions and enhance their tourism offerings. Funded by the Interreg IPA CBC Programme "Greece - Republic of North Macedonia 2014-2020," this initiative aligns with the Programme's goal of promoting territorial cohesion and economic growth while respecting the environment and utilizing natural resources. With a total budget of €45.470.066,00, I-TOUR is poised to make a significant impact on cross-border tourism in the area.
