Fourstep: Travel Diary
Fourstep is a travel diary app that allows users to record their daily travel activities. The app creates a travel diary based on sensed location and accelerometer data. To conserve battery life, the app automatically turns off GPS when the user is not moving. Tests have shown that using this app results in an additional 10-20% drain on battery life over 24 hours. However, users can switch to medium accuracy tracking to reduce this drain to approximately 5%.
