Air Quality Index

This text discusses the Air quality Index, which provides 48-hour predictions for near-surface and vertically integrated smoke levels using data from NOAA's National Centers for Environmental Prediction. The predictions are available for the Continental United States and can be viewed on forecast maps. Additionally, the maps can display AQI readings from the EPA's AirNow data service.
