AirQo - Air Quality
We've redesigned the AirQo App to improve the user experience by introducing simple to use Air quality analytics features. Registered users can now create an account using either their email or mobile number to enjoy a personalized experience. Guest users are also welcome to enjoy the AirQo experience without the need to create an account.
The app now offers improved search capabilities. Users can search for their village or zone by location name, as well as locate places by navigating the map. Additionally, users can add and remove locations to their favorites list for easy access.
The "For You" section offers personalized air quality analytics and recommendations based on user preferences, frequent sharing, favorites, and location. It also provides a gamified learning experience to increase understanding of air quality.
Sharing air quality information with friends is made easy, allowing users to share information through images or text.
Air quality analytics are now more accessible, allowing users to focus on what's important and view air quality by day or week. The app provides a simple experience by integrating historical, real-time, and forecast air quality analytics into a single chart.
AirQo currently covers data from five countries in Africa, including Uganda (covering major cities such as Kampala, Fort Portal, Gulu, Jinja, Wakiso, and Kabale), Kenya (including Nairobi and Kisumu), Cameroon (currently in Douala), and Senegal (currently in Dakar).
