gcAE
gcAE is a small helper tool designed to interact with Geocaching websites. Originally starting as an action extension, gcAE now includes a Safari extension for iOS 15. This new extension allows for even faster access to actions on geocaching websites.
The main app is used to configure the desired actions on geocaching websites. Numerous options are available such as copying the gc code or link to the clipboard, copying personal notes, creating a calendar entry, and opening geocaches or coordinates in installed geocaching or navigation apps. Additionally, gcAE supports various actions that can be automatically performed on geocaching websites, like removing banners, decrypting hints, cleaning certain areas, and displaying favorite percentages.
gcAE also supports a variety of geocaching and navigation apps, listing the ones installed on the device. The previous action extension is still available and covers all the actions provided by the new Safari extension. Furthermore, the action extension allows users to pass gc codes from publish emails to their geocaching apps through a simple sharing process.
