Explorer - AMNH NYC
The Museum offers a free mobile app called Explorer, which provides a map, turn-by-turn directions to exhibits and amenities, customized recommendations for what to see, and more. The app is available in English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese. Explorer uses over 700 Bluetooth beacons placed throughout the Museum to determine your location and provide accurate directions, although there may be some inaccuracies in certain areas. Wi-Fi connectivity can also vary in strength throughout the complex. Users are encouraged to provide feedback to help improve the app. Explorer is supported by Bloomberg Philanthropies.
