The official iOS app for FanFiction.Net provides users with a range of features that enhance their reading and writing experience. Readers can access millions of stories for free and enjoy a variety of options including text to speech for turning stories into audio books. The app also offers translation capabilities, allowing users to read stories in their native language through an AI engine. Other features include syncing, a multi-language dictionary lookup, forums for joining writing groups and making friends, and push notifications for followed/downloaded stories. Users can also enjoy private messaging with other app users and explore community archives. Additionally, the app allows for browsing and searching for registered beta readers, as well as managing favorites, follows, and other aspects of the user profile. The PM feature is currently limited to app-to-app communication, but site integration is expected to be available in a future release.
