Abstract:
MIDI Pro is an app that offers practice opportunities and composition ideas for musicians. This app allows users to mix percussion and melody tracks, providing the ability to play along with their preferred instrument. The generated MIDI sequences serve as starting points for human composers to further develop by adding more complex layers of instrumentation. The app combines determinism and randomness to construct tailored MIDI sequences based on individual preferences. These sequences are initiated with selected rhythm and further enhanced with notes using chosen key, scale, and chord progression. The result is a collection of tracks, including percussion and four melody tracks, which can be adjusted individually. The paid version offers the option to save MIDI files for reuse and import them into preferred Digital Audio Workstations (DAW).
