This abstract introduces TypeStory, a tool designed for writing stories by transforming ideas into engaging narratives. Users are able to create characters, dialogues, and scene titles to construct their story. The tool allows for the addition of characters with the option to reuse them in different stories. There is also the capability to add aliases, enabling minor adjustments such as changing names or avatars. The story is divided into scenes, with various scene types available including conversation, title, and quote. Users can synchronize music with messages to create a chat-style lyric video. Additionally, the interactive nature of the tool allows users to control the story playback by tapping on the screen. While the free version of TypeStory has limitations such as a limited number of messages and scenes, as well as the application of a watermark on stories, users have the option to unlock all features by upgrading to TypeStory PRO through an in-app purchase.
