SILENT HILL: Ascension
SILENT HILL: Ascension is a new Genvid Interactive Streaming Series that allows the audience to impact the canon of SILENT HILL. The story follows the Hernandez family in a decimated town in Pennsylvania and the Johansen family in a dying fishing village in Norway. As the audience, you have the power to decide the fate of these characters - whether they will face redemption, suffering, or damnation.
Your decisions are permanent and become part of the series' canon. Influence Points (IP) can be earned and used to participate in decisions that influence the narrative. The more IP you have, the more influence you'll have over the decisions that are important to you.
Live streams of the series include new scenes and the outcome of the audience's decisions. At the end of each live stream, the entire audience must help a main character endure through real danger. If a character fails repeatedly, they may not survive future encounters.
If you can't watch the live streams, you can catch up anytime with on-demand daily scenes and weekly TV-style episodes, as well as decisions that remain active for 24 hours or longer.
The series features stunning graphics that bring the horrors of SILENT HILL to life on your phone. Additionally, audience members have the opportunity to enter a cameo contest and have their avatars become a permanent part of the SILENT HILL canon.
The fate of the characters in SILENT HILL: Ascension's finale will be determined by the audience's decisions, endurance sequences, and puzzle-solving abilities.
