Travel Ticket
This text discusses the Travel Ticket app and its functionality in helping individuals navigate Public transportation without the need to open their smartphone's wallet. In the Netherlands, station gates utilize readers that simultaneously read barcodes and NFC chips. However, when scanning a photo or PDF of a train ticket, the NFC chip is also scanned, causing the smartphone's wallet to open and the ticket's barcode to disappear. To circumvent this issue, the Travel Ticket app allows users to open their international train ticket within the app, preventing the wallet from opening and ensuring a seamless passage through the gates. The app provides options to open the PDF document or photo of the ticket, as well as the ability to share and present the ticket within the app.
