Broou surf forecast and reports is a tool that provides surfers with real-time information about the surfing conditions at their favorite surf spots. The app offers a surf forecast for the next 5 days and also includes reports from other surfers who are currently at the spot. This allows users to determine whether the conditions are good for surfing or not.
For the Brazilian coastline, broou has an exclusive shallow water surf forecast system using NOAA's WW3 wave model. For international surf spots, the app utilizes NOAA information without any data interpretation.
What sets broou apart is its exclusive curation of the best surf conditions for each spot, providing an automated analysis of whether the conditions are suitable for surfing. If the icon is blue, it indicates that the conditions are good for the spot. If the conditions are not favorable, users can use the GPS function to quickly compare the conditions at nearby surf spots.
The app includes features such as wave size range, detailed information for the next 5 days including wave height, swell direction, wind direction and speed, Tide charts , weather, temperature, sunrise and sunset times, and moon phases. Users can personalize the measurement systems and share the surf forecast with friends through various social networks.
Broou has a comprehensive surf spot list in Brazil with over 700 registered spots, and more than 500 surf spots worldwide including those on the WSL world tour.
