The KGWN Weather App provides users with access to station content designed for mobile use. It features a 250-meter radar, offering the highest resolution available, as well as high-resolution satellite cloud imagery. The app also includes a future radar feature that allows users to track the path of severe weather. Current weather updates are provided multiple times per hour, and users have the ability to add and save their favorite locations. Daily and hourly forecasts are updated regularly from computer models, and the app includes a fully integrated GPS for location awareness. Opt-in push alerts are available to keep users safe during severe weather events, and the app also provides severe weather alerts from the National Weather Service.
