Network Analyzer
Network Analyzer is a lightweight version of Network Analyzer Pro, a powerful tool for network diagnostics, LAN scanning, and problem identification. This tool is designed to assist with diagnosing issues in wifi network setups, internet connectivity, and remote server problems using its extensive range of features.
The app includes a fast wifi device discovery tool that can identify all connected devices on the LAN, providing their IP addresses and names. It also offers standard diagnostic tools such as ping, traceroute, port scanner, DNS lookup, and whois. Additionally, it displays relevant information about wifi and cellular connections.
Some of the specific features of Network Analyzer include the ability to detect all connected network devices, provide IP addresses for discovered devices, display NetBIOS, mDNS, LLMNR, and DNS names where available, perform pingability tests on discovered devices, and identify IPv6 availability and discovered addresses.
Other notable features include round trip delay analysis for every network node using ping and traceroute, support for both IPv4 and IPv6, country detection for the analyzed server, port scanning of common ports or user-specified port ranges, detection of closed, firewalled, and open ports, description of known open port services, whois lookup for domains, IP addresses, and AS numbers, DNS lookup functionality similar to nslookup or dig, support for various DNS records, and display of network information such as default gateway, external IP addresses, DNS server details, wifi network information (SSID, BSSID, IP address, subnet mask), and cell network information (IP address, technology, etc.).
In addition, Network Analyzer offers full support for IPv6, a light/dark theme option, detailed help documentation, and regular updates to ensure the tool's effectiveness and compatibility.
