Avaya Workplace
Avaya Workplace is a mobile app that integrates your iPhone and iPad with your office Avaya Aura or IP Office communications system. This app allows for mobile voice and video calling, rich conferencing, instant messaging, presence status, visual voicemail, corporate directory access, and call history. With Avaya Workplace, users can make VoIP calls over Wi-Fi or mobile data networks, helping to lower mobile service charges. Calls made with Avaya Workplace will display the office calling line ID instead of the mobile phone number, providing a layer of privacy. The app also offers call mobility, allowing for seamless roaming between Wi-Fi and 3/4G networks, as well as call handoff between cellular voice and VoIP. Users can choose to have incoming office calls ring on their iPhone or any other phone they prefer. The app includes visual voicemail, which allows for viewing of who left a voice message and when it arrived, with messages able to be played in any order. Instant messaging capabilities are also included, along with presence status, which allows users to see the availability of their colleagues. Additionally, Avaya Workplace offers 24/7 call logs that show all office line call activity, regardless of the device used or when the calls arrived. The app integrates with the corporate directory, allowing for easy searching for contacts and the creation of favorites. Lastly, Avaya Workplace can be integrated with Avaya Workplace Meetings Online and Avaya Workplace Conferencing for integrated audio, video, and web conferencing capabilities.
