Unsolved Case is a co-op puzzle game that serves as the free prequel to the popular 'Cryptic Killer' series. Players take on the roles of detective duo Old Dog and Ally as they face the challenges laid out by the Cryptic Killer. The game requires communication, collaboration, and critical thinking to solve puzzles, crack codes, and eventually escape the clutches of the killer.
In this prequel, players are tasked with exploring new locations, unlocking secrets hidden in a mysterious locked box, and unraveling the mystery of the Cryptic Killer's return. Two minds must work together to crack the challenging puzzles and codes presented in the game. The gameplay is designed for two players to complete in 30-60 minutes, offering a taste of the thrilling mystery to come in the full Cryptic Killer series.
Unsolved Case features hand-illustrated environments inspired by classic noir novels, where players can draw notes and scribbles on the screen to aid in solving the case. The game challenges players to communicate, collaborate, and think creatively to escape the deadly grasp of the Cryptic Killer.
