The 511NY app is New York State's official source for real-time traffic and transit information. It now features Drive Mode, which allows users to enter their destination and origin to receive up to three routes with highway travel times based on traffic conditions. Drive Mode also provides audible alerts for incidents along the route. The app also includes a transit trip planner, access to camera images, weather alerts and forecasts, and a color coded map for winter road conditions.
