Refuge Restrooms
REFUGE is a mobile app that maps safe restrooms for transgender, intersex, and gender nonconforming individuals. Users can tap a map pin to see more information about a restroom, including whether it is unisex and/or accessible. The app also features a search bar to zoom to a specific address and view nearby restrooms, making it useful for everyday use or travel. If a location is not listed, users can add a new listing directly through the app. Access to safe restrooms is an important transgender rights issue, and REFUGE aims to support this mission.
