Fastdic - Fast Dictionary
This abstract describes a language Dictionary and translator app called Fastdic. The app has more than 2 million active users per month and offers various features. It includes an English to Persian/Farsi and vice-versa dictionary and translator, both available online and offline. The dictionary contains over 200,000 words and 70,000 example sentences. Users can convert numbers to words, access synonyms and antonyms, and listen to audio pronunciations in both American and British accents. The app also showcases part of speech, British & American English phonetics, history of searched words, word family, formal/informal labels, and a favorites list. Additional features include word sharing, a word of the day widget, voice and image translation capabilities, share extension for translation in other applications, light and dark mode, and a shake option to prepare for a new word. The dictionary function does not require an internet connection, while the translator does. The app also offers ad removal and access to additional features with a subscription.
