YouMail is compatible with postpaid plans from carriers like AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon, as well as StraightTalk and others. However, some prepaid plans from Boost Mobile, MetroPCS, Google Fi, and Consumer Cellular may not widely support conditional call forwarding, which prevents customers from using YouMail.
To activate YouMail, specific codes must be dialed to forward missed calls to the app. It is important to deactivate and return to your carrier from the settings before deleting the app to ensure calls are not still forwarded to YouMail.
