Stocks is an app that allows users to easily track the daily performance of their stocks and the market. Users can create watchlists to track groups of stocks, indexes, mutual funds, ETFs, and currencies. The app provides color-coded spark-lines, price quotes, and market capitalization information for each ticker in a watchlist. Users can organize tickers within watchlists manually or by various criteria such as name, price change, percentage change, or market capitalization.
The app also provides detailed information for specific tickers, including interactive price charts for different time periods and key details such as after-hours price, trading volume, and EPS. Users can add the dates for upcoming earnings reports to their calendars.
In addition, Stocks provides the latest business news from top publications around the world, allowing users to stay on top of current events related to the companies they follow. For Apple News+ subscribers, Apple News+ stories are integrated into the app.
Stocks can be accessed on various Apple devices, including iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Mac. Users can add Stocks widgets to their Home Screen or Lock Screen for quick access to price quotes. Siri integration allows users to ask questions such as “How is the Nikkei doing?” or “What is Apple’s P/E ratio?”
