The app also offers a sticky notes feature for quick thoughts and ideas, which can be synced across devices. Users can save their notes to the cloud (OneDrive, OneDrive for Business, and SharePoint) and collaborate with others in a shared notepad.
iPad users can enjoy additional features such as writing and Drawing with various pen colors and settings, using a stylus or touchscreen. OneNote automatically converts hand-drawn shapes into crisp polygons and circles with its "Convert to Shapes" mode.
OneNote is available for free on iPhone and many other devices. Monthly Microsoft 365 subscriptions can be purchased from the app and will be charged to the user's App Store account. Users can manage their subscriptions in the App Store account settings.
