QuickBooks Workforce
QuickBooks Workforce is an app that allows users to view pay information and track time in one place. This app is available to businesses that use QuickBooks Online Payroll and QuickBooks Desktop Payroll for pay features, and businesses that use QuickBooks Time for time tracking features.
Team members can access pay stubs, W-2s, and other pay information at any time and from anywhere. They can also clock in and out even without Wi-Fi or service, submit and track paid time off, sick days, and holidays, edit timesheets, manage job schedules, switch jobs, pause tracking, or take a break, and use GPS location-based time tracking. The QuickBooks Time Elite version allows team members to add photos and updates in a project activity feed.
Employers or administrators have the ability to approve, edit, or delete timesheets, schedule by job or by shift, see real-time information on who is working and where, set up a geofence to remind team members to clock in or out at job sites (available in QuickBooks Time Elite), create or modify schedules, receive alerts if employees don't clock in as scheduled or approach overtime, track vacation, sick, or holiday accruals for employees, view day and week totals and other time reports, and oversee team productivity and project status (available in QuickBooks Time Elite).
There are also extra benefits to using QuickBooks Workforce, such as saving on payroll costs and eliminating manual data entry, getting real-time reports in multiple formats, seamless integration with QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks for PC, integration with other payroll, accounting, and invoicing software, protection against labor disputes and audits with a detailed time log, and faster and less costly payroll and invoicing with accurate time data. QuickBooks Workforce also offers a developer open API.
