AxNote: Note Taking
AxNote is a digital Note-taking app that provides an infinite canvas for capturing and organizing your thoughts. With the ability to handwrite notes and convert them to typed text, drag and drop images, and automatically crop them, AxNote offers a next-level note-taking experience. The app includes features such as Magic Lens, which can extract handwriting or text from photos and create text fields, and Magic Wand, which converts handwritten notes to typed text. AxNote also supports SharePlay, allowing users to collaborate on notes during a Group FaceTime call or iMessage.
Additionally, the app offers a variety of preset layouts, including lined paper, grid paper, typed paragraphs, and a freeform canvas, to transform your device into a digital notebook. Users can customize these layouts with specific measurements for line and grid spacing, colors, and even create their own canvas using AxNote+. Autoshape enables users to straighten hand-drawn shapes and scale them for accurate diagrams.
With QuickTool, users can easily select tools without having to lift their arm, enhancing note-taking efficiency. Handwriting-to-Text feature supports Scribble in iPadOS, allowing users to write naturally with their pencil and have it automatically converted to typed text. AxNote also enables users to drag and drop images, create text-based tables with customizable fill and border colors, and link tables with charts for data visualizations. Pins can be used to easily access important content, while layers can be used to trace around images and toggle their visibility.
Sections allow users to mark relevant parts of a note in the sidebar for easy navigation. AxNote+ offers additional customization options, including customizing the QuickTool, creating reusable layouts, and advanced chart features, which can be accessed through a one-time in-app purchase.
