PRO CHARTS - Marine Navigation
MiraTrex PRO CHARTS™ is a marine Navigation system that can be easily used on your iPhone or iPad. It is suitable for various water-related activities, including fishing, sailing, diving, and more. This navigation system provides high-resolution NOAA nautical chart coverage for U.S. coastal areas, the Great Lakes, major U.S. river systems, Brazil, and global high-level nautical charts. The charts are automatically updated based on NOAA chart corrections.
With PRO CHARTS™, you can easily create waypoints and routes with a simple touch of the screen. You can also find and meet up with your friends on the water using the Buddy-tracking feature. Additionally, you can create and send a Float Plan of your trip to ensure safety.
The navigation feature of this system is intuitive, with an on-screen compass that guides you to the next point on your route. PRO CHARTS™ is designed to work without an internet connection, allowing you to download charts in advance for offline use.
Other features include the ability to record your tracks, an indexed database of points of interest such as weather, aids to navigation, obstructions, tides, currents, and more.
PRO CHARTS™ offers various subscription plans, including a free base app with limited features, a 14-day trial of all premium features, and a paid monthly or annual subscription for access to all premium features.
It is important to note that continued use of GPS running in the background can decrease battery life. While PRO CHARTS™ can function without a GPS as a chart reader, a GPS-enabled device is required for point-to-point navigation.
