Shell: Fuel, Charge & More
The Shell App is a convenient mobile payment application that allows users to pay for fuel and purchase items at participating Shell stations in the United States. Users can link various payment methods such as Shell branded credit cards, checking accounts, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, and major credit/debit cards. The app also introduces a new way to pay with Shell eGift cards. Users can unlock the fuel pump or present a QR code to pay inside the store. The app also integrates loyalty programs, provides receipts, offers, and includes a station locator feature.
Additionally, the Shell App now supports Electric Vehicle (EV) drivers. EV users can select the EV option to access the Shell Recharge network through the app. It allows EV drivers to locate the nearest charger, check the charging status, start and stop charging, and make in-app payments.
The Shell Pay & Save feature eliminates the need for multiple cards, reduces prompts, and is integrated with the Fuel Rewards® program. Users can save automatically on every fill up and earn a one-time 25¢/gal savings by downloading the app and completing their first Shell Pay & Save fuels purchase. Continued use of Shell Pay & Save earns additional savings, and users can customize their savings by choosing to redeem everyday savings or use their full rewards balance with the Fuel Rewards option. The app also introduces a new loyalty status called Platinum with potential rewards.
Lastly, the app includes a station locator feature that allows users to quickly find their nearest Shell station and access a list of services offered, including stations that accept Shell Pay & Save mobile payment.
