Forecast Now
Forecast Now is a mobile app that provides the latest local weather forecast for any town in the US. It offers a range of features including the daily local weather forecast for the next 7 days, the hourly forecast for the next 24 hours, animated radar and satellite views, hazardous weather warnings, predicted snowfall totals during winter months, the air quality index, and the ultraviolet index. The app also allows users to store up to 8 locations.
Weather and climate information for Forecast Now is sourced directly from the National Weather Service, NOAA, and the EPA. The development of the app is partially funded through ads, which can be removed by subscribing to the "Remove Ads" monthly auto-renewing option in the settings menu. Subscribing to this option also provides access to all the GOES satellite imagery.
The subscription price for removing ads is 0.99 USD, charged to the user's iTunes account upon confirmation of purchase and for each subsequent renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current month. Users have the option to cancel their subscription at any time through their iTunes account settings, but must do so at least 24 hours before the end of the current month to avoid being charged. If the subscription is canceled, ads will appear again at the start of the following month.
