NOAA SuperRes Radar is an app designed for weather enthusiasts, providing access to high-resolution radar mosaics for the continental US. It offers 4 times the resolution of typical weather radar products, allowing users to view storm features not visible in ordinary radar apps. The app also provides access to 3 km hourly forecast radar, 3 and 6 day precipitation and pressure forecasts, temperature overlay, snow/mixed precipitation display, 7 day forecasts, current conditions, and severe weather warnings. Other features include cloud cover and satellite imagery, advanced radar layers, animation controls, zoom options, multiple map styles, GPS locator, transparency adjustment, radar clutter filtering, automatic refresh, location search, and saved settings.
