Abstract: Online Check-In is a convenient service offered by hair salons to allow customers to save time by checking in ahead of their visit. This system provides estimated wait times based on current salon conditions and allows users to monitor their place in line in real time. Customers can easily select their preferred salon, enter their information, and receive text alerts when their appointment is approaching. Online Check-In is available during salon hours, excluding the first five minutes of opening and the last 30 minutes before closing. This service can be used for haircut appointments and other services, with the exception of perms and formal updos. Customers without mobile devices can still utilize Online Check-In through alternative devices with an internet connection. Arrival times at the salon should be coordinated to ensure a timely check-in process, with provisions made for unexpected delays. Customers have the option to cancel their check-in at any point through the application interface. Online Check-In provides a seamless and efficient method for salon patrons to streamline their visit and minimize wait times.
