WikiArt.org is an online platform dedicated to making the world's art accessible to all. With over 250,000 artworks by 3,000 artists in 7 languages, WikiArt aims to cover the entire history of art, from ancient cave paintings to contemporary collections. The project is non-profit and relies on donations and advertising for financial support. WikiArt showcases both public domain and copyright protected artworks, following fair use principles and respecting artists' rights. The website provides tools for translation and encourages active involvement from users. If copyright infringement is suspected, WikiArt responds promptly to remove or block offending content.
