The app "Night Sky" allows users to observe planets of the solar system, stars, constellations, and galaxies using their iPhone or iPad as virtual windows to the universe. By pointing the device at an object in the sky, the app can identify what is being viewed - including all 88 constellations, over 5000 stars, and the planets of the solar system. Features include auto function for real-time positioning, scroll function with zoom for a 3D view of the sky, night mode to protect eyes, and universal compatibility with both iPhone and iPad.
