Astroweather - astronomy tools
Astroweather is a specialized weather forecast designed for astronomical observation. Derived from the product of 7timer.org, it incorporates astronomical weather forecasts as well as displays for sunset/sunrise and moonrise/moonset. This web-based meteorological forecast product utilizes data from the Global Forecast System (GFS) developed by NOAA/NCEP. Initially established in 2005 with support from the National Astronomical Observatories of China, Astroweather has since been updated and is now backed by the Shanghai Astronomical Observatory of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. In addition to weather forecasts, Astroweather offers services such as astronomical event forecasts, light pollution maps, rise and set times for celestial bodies, and an Astronomy forum.
