For users looking to use Redshift as a professional tool for telescope control, the app can be extended with the professional subscription Redshift Sky Ultimate. This version offers access to a huge database of more than 2,500,000 stars and 70,000 deep-sky objects, as well as online access to over one billion stars from various catalogues. Redshift Sky Ultimate allows users to plan their observations with the sky calendar, control Meade or Celestron telescopes (excluding the Celestron NexStar Evolution series), receive notifications for important celestial events, and create and share multiple views of the sky. The app also includes features such as a professional solar eclipse map, the ability to discover supernova explosions and exoplanets, numerical integration for calculating trajectories of asteroids and comets, and the ability to track satellites in the Redshift Control Center.
