Simply NFC - Tag Writer/Reader
Simply NFC is a powerful and easy-to-use NFC writer/reader app that allows users to scan NFC tags with a simple tap of a button on their phone. No external hardware is required, making it accessible and convenient. The app reads the tag content, stores it in history, and automatically opens the appropriate app or function. Users can configure tags to trigger HomeKit scenes or create text tags that read contents out loud.
On iOS 13 and above, Simply NFC also supports writing to NFC tags, including text, HomeKit, URL, and more. Users can export scan history to various file formats for tracking events. Siri Shortcuts can be used to ask Siri to scan tags, and a widget and iMessage extension offer additional functionalities for quick access and sharing.
The app supports various tag contents such as text, URL, vCard contact, SMS, email, telephone, app launching, custom Uri, location, HomeKit scene, and Wifi configuration. HomeKit scenes can be triggered remotely, and NFC scanning can be started from an Apple Watch. Developers can access Simply NFC through a Uri scheme and integrate NFC scanning into their own apps or websites. Additionally, the app allows for every scan to be sent to a web server for integration with web services. Users can provide feedback and suggestions to the developers for new features and improvements.
