This abstract discusses an app that allows users to read the electronic NFC chip in their passports, which contains all their information, including their photo. Users must ensure that their phone is NFC ready and that their passport displays the chip symbol. By using their phone's camera, users can extract the necessary information to enable NFC access. Users can view all their information, save their photo, and copy/paste any field, such as their passport number. However, it is important to note that certain data, such as fingerprints or iris photos, can only be read by official authorities. The app was developed using the online identity verification solution, IDCheck.io.
