Trip Reader (NFC)
Trip Reader is an innovative application that utilizes the iPhone's internal NFC reader to access balance and history information from various public transit cards issued across China. This convenient tool eliminates the need for Internet or Bluetooth connection, making it easy for users to access crucial information on the go.
The app offers a range of features including displaying station names, providing details on monthly discount policies, showing bus route numbers, as well as allowing users to save history and add comments. In addition, Trip Reader enables users to sync their information to iCloud for convenient access across devices.
While the app supports a variety of transit cards including Beijing Hutong Card, Tianjin City Card, Nanjing City Card, and Shanghai Public Transportation Card among others, it does not currently support Beijing Yikatong due to technical reasons. Users should also note that student cards and senior cards are not supported by the application.
