ScanKey - QR OCR NFC Keyboard
ScanKey is an additional keyboard for iOS devices that integrates a scanner for QR-/bar codes and an OCR scanner to recognize printed alphanumeric text and words using the camera. It allows users to easily fill out forms or enter complex codes by scanning them instead of typing manually. The keyboard supports scanning single codes or using batch mode to scan multiple codes, which can be merged together with a configurable separator. The app also includes a Post-Processor Engine, which allows users to modify scan results using various filters in any specific order. Additionally, the app supports extracting non-handwritten text from images using the Image-To-Text function. Quick actions on the home screen enable fast in-app scans. The keyboard supports QWERTZ, QWERTY, and NUMERIC layouts. Supported codes include UPCECode, Code39Code, Code39Mod43, Code93, Code128, EAN8, EAN13, Aztec, PDF417, QRCode, DataMatrix, Code-2of5 Interleaved, and ITF14. Supported text includes hundreds of serif and sans-serif fonts, alphanumeric text, words and sentences, and multi-line text. Note that handwritten text is not supported. Supported NFC tag types include text, uniform resource identifier, smart poster, TextXVCard, and wifi configurations. The app also includes post-processing features such as adding or removing characters at the start or end, regex string replacement, and text replacement. Additional features of ScanKey include automatically copying the scan result to the clipboard, automatically returning after a scan is finished, and automatically removing the checksum of EAN/-UPC-Codes.
