Pastel
Pastel is an app designed for amateur developers and artists to capture and collect color palettes for their projects. It allows users to build a library of color palettes and seamlessly sync it across devices with iCloud. The app offers various color pickers, including wheel, RGB sliders, and crayons, and allows users to manually choose specific colors.
Users can analyze photos from the photo library or Files to determine dominant colors and save their palettes to Pastel. The app also provides the ability to drag and drop colors into other apps that support dropped colors, such as Pages and Keynote. Additionally, users can copy Developer -focused code representations, like RGB, hex, Objective-C, Swift, and SwiftUI.
Pastel offers features like copying a pixel bitmap representation of a palette for use in pixel editors, creating beautiful 2D and 3D wallpapers using the wallpaper creator, and exporting palettes to Procreate®. In the free version, users can try out the built-in library and add their own palettes up to a limit of 20 items. The unlimited version can be accessed through an in-app purchase.
