Jayson
Jayson is a JSON viewer and editor that offers a range of features and functionality. Users can browse JSON files stored on their device, view JSON in a table or as syntax highlighted text, and easily switch between files or different objects within a file using the tabbed interface. Multiple splits allow for comparing JSON documents within a single file or across multiple files, while multiple windows on the iPad provide even more browsing and editing options.
With Jayson, users can parse text or the contents of a URL in their clipboard to JSON. The app also offers Siri Shortcuts that parse JSON from text or a link in the clipboard, allowing users to open the JSON in the app or preview it in an interactive notification. Share Sheet Actions enable parsing JSON from plain text, loading JSON from a link, and importing files as JSON. URL schemes are available for parsing text, loading link contents as JSON, or parsing clipboard contents.
Additional features in Jayson, which require the "Unlock Everything" in-app purchase, include switching between light and dark themes, changing the visual appearance including the app icon, accent color, and type icons, and opening more than two tabs. The app also offers short videos to help users get started. Overall, Jayson provides a user-friendly and versatile platform for viewing, editing, and parsing JSON data.
