The LEX18 Weather App provides a range of features and services to its mobile users. These include access to station content tailored for mobile devices, such as 250 meter radar with the highest available resolution and high-resolution satellite cloud imagery. The app also offers future radar functionality to track the path of severe weather, as well as real-time updates of current weather conditions. Users can add and save their favorite locations, and the app provides daily and hourly forecasts based on computer models. Additionally, the app incorporates a GPS feature for location awareness and opt-in push alerts to keep users safe during severe weather events. The app also delivers severe weather alerts from the National Weather Service.
