Cyclone is an app that provides real-time weather imagery for North America, Europe, Japan, and Australia. It offers forecasts, tracks, and projected paths for hurricanes, typhoons, and cyclones, as well as other tropical storm information. The app uses data from NOAA-NASA GOES and EUMETSAT satellites, allowing users to view detailed and sharp images on zoomable maps. Additionally, Cyclone utilizes data from the Storm Prediction Center and Global Disaster Alert and Coordination System to provide information about tropical storms and hurricanes worldwide, including coordinates, wind speed, and storm tracks.

Users can add placemarks on the map to represent their favorite places or desired destinations. Cyclone also provides satellite images from geostationary satellites, which show cloud coverage and weather features.

Cyclone is a 64-bit app that can be used on any iPhone, iPad, or iPod. The satellite data used in the app comes from GOES 13, GOES 15, METEOSAT, and MTSAT satellites. Radar images are delayed up to 30 minutes for certain regions, such as the U.S., Japan, Indonesia, and Australia, and up to 1 hour for Europe.
