In cases where a device does not have a barometric sensor, the app retrieves atmospheric pressure data from the nearest meteorological station via the internet. The application also features an automatic calibration algorithm based on data from local meteorological stations to ensure accurate altitude and atmospheric pressure measurements. Additionally, it provides information on GPS coordinates, location names, countries, current weather data from local weather stations, outside temperature, Wind speed , visibility, humidity, and hygrometer readings if equipped with appropriate sensors. This barometer tracker is beneficial for health monitoring, fishing and sailing, sports activities, weather forecasting, location checking, pilot and seafarer use, and wind verification. The app is simple, easy to use, and available for devices with built-in pressure sensors. However, caution is advised as measurements on devices without a built-in sensor may be less accurate.
