MINI-COMPOSER by Karl Bartos
Karl Bartos and Masayuki Akamatsu have collaborated to create a free and simple 16-step music sequencer app. The app incorporates the basic waves of a synthesizer and features a 16-step sequencer, multi-touch note input, 32 polyphonic tones, and 1 drum track. Additionally, it includes four waves (saw, triangular, square, sine), four drumbeat loops, drums on/off options, random note generation, and note clearing. The app also allows for Wi-Fi sync play. Bartos and Akamatsu encourage users to enjoy their music while also considering making a donation to assist Japan in the aftermath of the earthquake and tsunami, utilizing the provided link to the Red Cross site. It should be noted that establishing a Wi-Fi connection may take up to 30 seconds, and for users with only one iOS device, a Wi-Fi connection is not necessary.
