MyMusicTheory - Music Theory
This text introduces an app designed to help users practice Music theory and improve their sight reading skills. The app covers a range of topics, starting from basic notes in treble clef for beginners and progressing to more advanced concepts such as identifying exotic scale modes in mezzo-soprano clef. Some of the topics covered include key signatures, intervals (including compound intervals and the use of double sharps or double flats), chords (including triads, sevenths, and extended chords), scales (including different scale modes and pentatonic scales), diatonic chord degrees, rhythm exercises, and practice in various clefs. The app is specifically designed to prepare users for Levels 1-5 of ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) exams; however, it does not cover all of the topics included in the official syllabus.
