Teachers, students, and professional musicians can use this tool to identify pitches visually or by sound and write them down or play them on the piano. The results can be saved in a 'Grade Book', which can be printed or sent.
Some of the features of this tool include the ability to play a note on the piano or notate a piano key in different clefs such as Treble, Alto, Tenor, and Bass. In the 'Ear Training' mode, the keyboard or staff is hidden during the quiz, but there is a 'Middle C' button available to assist in finding the answer. The range of notes can be adjusted using the ledger lines limits set by the user.
The Grade Book can be filtered by name, allowing for easy organization and management of quiz results. Each quiz entry in the Grade Book includes the name of the quiz taker, the date and time the quiz was taken, all relevant settings used in the quiz (including the clef and number of questions), and the score represented both as a percentage and a letter grade.
